• Social Worker
Social workers are university-qualified professionals trained in counselling, mental health, and understanding how life circumstances impact wellbeing, including family systems, trauma, work stress, relationships, health, and broader social factors.

Social work takes a holistic, biopsychosocial approach, considering the whole person within their environment. This means therapy can include both emotional support and practical strategies to address life challenges.

The profession is regulated by the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW), which sets standards for social work practice, ethics and education.

    Psychologist
Psychologists are trained in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, DBT). They work to diagnose and treat mental health conditions using structured therapeutic approaches.

    Counsellor
“Counsellor” is a broad term. Training and qualifications can vary widely, as the title is not government-regulated in the same way as social work or psychology. Counsellors generally focus on therapeutic techniques like talk therapy to navigate life challenges, grief, or personal crises rather than clinical diagnosis.

The most important factor in choosing a therapist is finding someone you feel safe, understood, and comfortable working with.We offer a range of solutions designed to meet your needs—whether you're just getting started or scaling something bigger. Everything is tailored to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
